I know my child's clothing size, do I have to measure her?
Yes, you must measure your child even if you know what size they wear. Designers provide the size specifications they cut to. You will find not all designers use the same specifications. Listed below are some of our most commonly used size charts
.

Can you tell me how to measure my child?
When you measure your child have your child stand up straight, preferably with their back and back of heels on a wall. Have them let the back of their head touch the wall. When a child tilts their head down to look towards their toes or stomach they naturally distend their stomach making them measure a larger size (this is especially true for toddlers).

1) Measure around the chest making sure your tape measure is taught but not pulled tightly, your tape should form a level line across the back.

2) Measure around the waist making sure your child is standing up straight head forward. Measure approximately one inch above the navel.

Infants up to size 24 months are often measured strictly by weight. These steps will give you the essential measurements you need to order the correct size. Now refer to the size chart.

What does the term 'length' refer to in the size chart?
The term 'length' refers to the length of the dress from the shoulder to the hem. Most of our dresses are what is called tea length. Tea length refers to a style that falls midway between the ankle and the calf. This is especially import for little girls as in all the excitement of the occasion they may step into the hem of a floor length style. Tea length is flattering in that it may fall an inch higher on one girl and an inch lower on another and still look beautiful. To know where the hem of the dress will fall on your child, measure from the high point on the child's shoulder to calf, the length value is where the dress will fall on your child.

Should I purchase a white or an ivory flower girl dress?
If you are purchasing a satin flower girl dress, your choices are white or a very pale ivory. If you are purchasing a silk flower girl dress, these are never pure white. You will see them referred to as 'diamond white' or 'silver white', etc. As is the nature of raw silk it has a slight color to it and the designers are not able to achieve a snow white look. Satin flower girl dresses ordered in white are stark white bridal satin. Ivory satin flower girl dresses from US Angels are a very pale tasteful shade of ivory and is usually a good match to a silk bridal gown. Selecting a silk flower girl dress in ivory is generally a deep ivory almost a tea stain look. Ultimately, the choice is individual one and should be made with the bride's consideration. It's not infrequent to find a slight variation in the shade of white or ivory between the bride and the flower girls. If you are concerned about this, during the photo sessions do not have the flower girls stand directly in front of the bride, stand them in front of the groomsmen for a nice contrasting look.

I don't have a fabric tape measure suitable for measuring my child. Can I use a metal tape measure?
It's difficult to get an accurate read from a metal tape measure as it does not easily bend with your child. We recommend you borrow or buy a seamstress tape measure. If this is not possible, use a string or ribbon that does not have any elasticity to it, mark off your child's measurements and then measure the string or ribbon against your metal tape measure, ruler or yardstick.

.

Can I buy my Communion or Flower girl dresses off the rack?
Absolutely. However, it's been our experience that finding the style you want, the size you want and the color combination you want and having all the dresses you need in stock is usually rare.

Can I return my Communion or Flower girl dress?
Unfortunately, these dresses are special order, made to order and are final sale.

My event date is coming soon. Can I receive a rush delivery?
Yes, rush shipment options are available. For an additional $15.00 shipping, your item will be shipped directly to your home from the designer. This will save approximately one week. To receive your dress even sooner, pay an additional $25.00 to upgrade your shipment to USPS 3 day or $30.00 to recieve your item in 2 days.

What does Wear date mean?
"Wear Date" refers to the day of your special event. We track this date to ensure your dress is in your hands in plenty of time for your special day.
